-
Ordinary material objects of this world
-
can partake of the various Platonic forms,
-
but they should not be confused with the Platonic forms.
-
But we still-- even though we don't bump into the Platonic
-
forms in this world-- we can think about them.
-
Our mind has a kind of grasp of them.
-
Of course, the problem is,
-
we're distracted by the comings and goings,
-
the hurly burly of the ordinary everyday world.
-
And so we don't have a very good grasp of the Platonic forms.
-
We're able to think about them,
-
but we're distracted.
