-
What in the heck can we do about this problem
-
that is such a plague on the world that just goes on, and on, and on?
-
I mean, when I was a child we were told to clean our plate
-
because there were starving children in China
-
is what they said at the moment,
-
and so even as far back as my boyhood,
-
there was public concern about hunger.
-
Our parents had talked about it at least,
-
not that they did much about it, but they at least talked about it.
-
So the concern has gone on for years and years, and years.
-
Yet the problem seems to be getting worse rather then better.
-
Why doesn't the world have the will to solve this problem?
