Why do I say rumors of the resurrection?

Because if you'll notice in the Gospel of Mark,

if Mark ends at Chapter 16:8,

and there has been some controversy about whether it really is supposed to end there,

but in most of your modern editions it ends at 16:8.

If that's true, you don't actually see the resurrected Jesus.

You just get--he doesn't appear on the stage so to speak.
