I had this colleague a long,long time ago

when I first came here

who grew up in Moscow in the 1930s,

because his father was the Persian ambassador to Moscow.

and people were being taken away in the night,

and there were boots in the hall,

and it was a pretty damn scary time to live.

One day he was in this big school.
